Jessica will take baby to work
11 1st, 2008 Author: webmasterNew mom Jessica Alba plans on taking daughter Honor to work with her when she begins filming “An Invisible Sign of My Own,” because she doesn’t want to miss out on her baby’s development.
The “Fantastic Four” beauty and her husband Cash Warren welcomed little Honor in July, and the new movie will be Alba’s first since giving birth.
Alba, who will play a mathematics genius in a new film, says, “To be honest with you, it’s tough (being away from Honor) — and if it was any other movie I wouldn’t be doing it.
“It’s difficult to spend any time away from her.”
But she refuses to spend hours apart from her little bundle of joy, so Honor will join her mom on set.
The actress adds to People.com, “I love my daughter and she’s going to be with me every day on the set.”
Alba won the role after “Ugly Betty” commitments forced America Ferrera to pull out.

Good Luck Jessica!
The “Good Luck Chuck” beauty is expecting her first child with on-again off-again boyfriend Cash Warren sometime in late spring or early summer.
Alba, 26, began dating Warren, 28, in 2004 after they met on the set of “The Fantastic Four,” on which Warren, a Yale graduate, was a director’s assistant.
Alba and Warren split earlier this year and as recently as last month Alba was quoted lamenting the dating scene.
“I think it’s probably the same [for me] as it is for anyone else. All my girlfriends who aren’t actresses have the same problems finding a dude as anyone in Hollywood. Guys are a headache, but girls are headaches too. We’re all nuts!” the actress said.
Recently the pair have been spotted in their usual front row seats at the Lakers and shopping around Beverly Hills, apparently reconciled.
Before the pregnancy announcement, first reported on people.com, Alba said she was in talks to make her Broadway debut this summer in a revival of playwright David Mamet’s “Speed-the-Plow.”

Some facts about Jessica Alba’s parents her early life and career beginnings
05 20th, 2007 Author: webmasterFind more info at Wikipedia
Jessica Alba was born in Pomona, California, to Mark Alba (who is of Mexican descent), and Catherine Jensen (who is of French and Danish ancestry). Her maternal grandfather was a Marine noncom for 30 years, serving in the Pacific during WWII, and later as Asst. Drum Major for the United States Marine Band. Alba was raised in an Air Force family, along with her brother, Joshua, an actor who appeared with her in the season one finale of Dark Angel, and her grandparents until she was 17 years old. Her father’s Air Force career took the family to Biloxi, Mississippi and Del Rio, Texas, before they settled back in California.
Alba’s early life was marked by a multitude of physical maladies; she suffered collapsed lungs twice, had pneumonia 4 to 5 times a year, a burst appendix, a cyst on her tonsils, and asthma.[citation needed] She has also acknowledged suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder during childhood.[2] This served to isolate her from other children at school because, as she says, she was in the hospital so often that no one knew her well enough to befriend her.[citation needed] Her health improved, however, when her family moved to California
